HDDUS Care Foundation is proud to announce its upcoming sacred event — a traditional Jagar ritual — on 18th and 19th July at haat kalika mandir Bhugali Village in Gangolihat, Uttarakhand. This two-day spiritual celebration will honor the divine energies and rich cultural traditions of the Kumaon region.
Jagar is an ancient ritual of devotion, where mystical chants, folk music, and dances connect the community with their ancestral deities and nature. Villagers and devotees will come together to participate in this heartfelt ceremony that celebrates unity, cultural heritage, and faith.
With the sacred Hatkalika Mata Temple nearby, the event promises a vibrant atmosphere filled with glowing diyas, melodious sounds of dhol and damau, and soul-stirring bhajans. The mission of the Jagar Programme at Hatkalika Temple is to preserve, promote, and pass on Uttarakhand’s sacred folk traditions to future generations. Through this cultural gathering, HDDUS Care Foundation aims to strengthen community bonds, honor local deities, and inspire pride in the spiritual and cultural identity of the region.
